Us energy department releases LED street lamp standard V2.0"

The US Energy Agency (DOE) has issued the LED street lamp standard V2.0, which is usually used by members of the Department of energy solid Street Alliance (MSSLC) to develop LED road lighting standards.
he new LED standard for street lights can be downloaded from the US Department of energy web site. The V2.0 version, which was followed by the initial release of the release in late 2011, now helps the municipalities and other agencies through the development of guidance procurement documents for lamps.
In fact, the specification only requires municipalities to fill in templates in accordance with specific specifications, apply to projects at hand, and quickly generate a comprehensive procurement document. The new version makes some changes to simplify documentation, but more importantly, adds references to standards and other files already appearing in the original file publication. Some important modifications and supplements to the luminaire include a number of ANSI specifications for details ranging from light control sockets to electrical isolation and noise immunity. The new specification adds a reference to the IES TM-21 methodology for the energy star calculator to evaluate the life of LED luminaries. The new specification is compatible with the latest version of the road lighting IES RP-8 standard.
